Bringing Mariah Carey to the Virtual Stage:
For Mariah Carey’s Winter Wonderland virtual concert series on Roblox in 2022, we were asked to create her 3D avatar. This involved everything from modeling and texturing to rigging, making sure she moved smoothly in the virtual world.
We worked with existing designs to bring out a stylized version of Mariah that still felt true to her. From her outfit to her hair and makeup, we paid close attention to capturing her unique look while adding a creative twist.
We also made sure the avatar met all the platform’s technical requirements, so her performance went off without a hitch.
Through a few rounds of adjustments, we fine-tuned the details to make sure everything looked polished, focusing on the little things that help bring a character to life.
